Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Calcorbit.com collects, uses, and protects the limited data associated with our calculator tools and the ads we serve through Google AdSense.

1. Data We Collect

  • Form inputs you voluntarily type into calculators (processed in memory and never stored server-side).
  • Basic technical diagnostics such as IP address, browser type, and device metadata that our hosting and security partners collect to keep the site reliable.
  • Cookie identifiers generated by Google AdSense and our analytics tooling so we can measure traffic, detect fraud, and comply with regional consent frameworks.

2. How We Use Information

  • To return the calculator or converter results you request.
  • To analyze anonymous usage patterns that help us prioritize new tools and improve accessibility.
  • To work with Google AdSense so ads can be displayed and measured once you grant marketing consent.
  • To respond when you reach out via the contact form or email.

3. Advertising, Cookies & Third Parties

Google AdSense may use cookies or device identifiers to serve personalized or contextual ads. When you limit cookies, we instruct Google to only serve non-personalized ads or suppress ad calls entirely. See Google's advertisement technology policy for details on how Google processes data.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share pseudonymous identifiers with AdSense, our hosting provider, and error monitoring platforms that are bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements.

4. Consent & Your Choices

When you first visit, we set all advertising-related cookies to denied. Selecting “Allow all” lets us enable ad measurement, ad personalization, and ad user data, while “Limit to essential” keeps non-essential storage disabled. You can revisit these choices anytime via the “Manage cookie preferences” controls in the banner or footer.

Where required (EEA/UK), we honor consent strings generated by a Google-certified CMP and support withdrawal requests propagated through Funding Choices.

5. Data Retention

  • Form entries are discarded immediately after you receive a calculation.
  • Server logs and security traces are retained for up to 30 days.
  • Aggregated analytics may be stored for up to 14 months.

6. Your Rights & Contact

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise any right or ask a question, email privacy@calcorbit.com or use the contact form. We respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have not addressed a privacy concern, you may escalate it to your local supervisory authority.
